Hend Al Mansour
Born in Saudi Arabia, Hend Al Mansour originally moved to Cairo to pursue a career in medicine. Her subsequent move to the US saw her embrace her love of art and she obtained a Master of Fine Art from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Al Mansour’s work focuses on representing Arab women and she has now become best known as an installation artist and a skilled silkscreen painter. As well as being an renowned public speaker, Al Mansour’s latest interest is art history as she believes “examining art from the perspective of art history” might help her trace the invisible path of Arab artistic production in the last few centuries.title
